Job summary

Motive civil and Plant hire Pty Ltd in NSW invites an experienced Site Supervisor to run crews on site, ensure safety, productivity, and program delivery on civil subdivision, drainage and earthworks projects.

You’ll manage plant, materials, prestarts, inductions and ensure WHS compliance while coordinating subcontractors and liaising with Council inspectors and the client.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in civil construction as a supervisor or leading hand.
• Experience in subdivisions, pipelaying, roadworks, drainage and bulk earthworks.
• Confident reading plans and using a laser level, GPS/UTS.
• A strong safety leader who can get the best out of a crew.
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable with basic paperwork and apps.
• White Card and a current driver’s licence required. Supervisor-level traffic control (Implement TGS), first aid or plant tickets are a bonus
• Local projects with no FIFO, home every night.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day site operations: crews, plant, materials and deliveries.
• Lead daily prestarts, toolbox talks and site inductions.
• Enforce WHS on site, including SWMS, permits, traffic control and incident reporting.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and labour hire.
• Read plans and specs, and check levels, grades and setout as the work progresses.
• Plan daily and weekly works to meet the program, and flag delays early.
• Keep site records up to date: diaries, timesheets, plant hours, dockets and photos.
• Work with the Site/Project Engineer on hold points, testing and quality checks.
• Manage erosion and sediment controls and environmental compliance.
• Liaise with Council inspectors, utilities, residents and the client on site.

We’re a civil contractor delivering subdivision, drainage, earthworks and council infrastructure projects across the Central West. We’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to run our crews on the ground and keep jobs safe, productive and on program.
