Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Australia is seeking a strategic leader to head a fast‑paced distribution operation from day one. You will build high‑performing teams, drive operational excellence and shape customer‑facing service delivery in a high‑profile client partnership.

Lead the 3PL operation, manage SLA performance, and foster a culture of safety, teamwork and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations management within the 3PL logistics or supply chain industry.
• Leadership and team management skills including the ability to engage, motivate and develop your team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional outlook.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the operations team, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Oversee warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate results in line with SLA's.
• Analysis of operational performance, implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Ensuring site compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory requirements and driving a culture of compliance and safety.
• Managing resources and logistics to optimise operational costs, improve service levels, and exceed customer expectations.
• Provide training, support, and development opportunities for team members including identification of talent and succession planning.
