Job summary

MELROSE BUILT PTY LTD on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a seasoned Site Manager for a multi-residential, high-rise project in Caloundra. You will lead site operations, maintain strict WHS practices, and drive delivery within approved programs while building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities cover coordination from mobilisation to practical completion, cost control, and quality assurance. Experience with Procore and similar tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Senior site management experience within the construction industry.
• Experience delivering high-rise multi-storey residential projects.
• Strong sequencing and build methodology capability.
• Proven experience delivering projects up to $25 million.
• Natural leadership with mentoring capability for foremen and site teams.

• Maintain audit-ready records including diaries, permits, registers and site documentation.
• Support commercial discipline through timely documentation of instructions, delays and variations.

Site Manager - Sunshine Coast - Multi Res

Reporting to a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of site operations, leading your team to deliver safe, compliant and high-quality outcomes in line with structured delivery processes.

You will be trusted to run your site with autonomy, maintain strong client relationships and ensure program certainty, cost control and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead all site coordination and delivery activities from mobilisation to practical completion
• Drive programme outcomes through realistic lookaheads and sequencing
• Champion a zero harm culture and ensure WHS compliance across all trades
• Oversee quality assurance including ITP implementation and defect closeout prior to PC
• Manage subcontractor performance, meetings and on-site communications
• Identify risks early and elevation cost, time or quality impacts promptly

• You are a seasoned Site Manager with demonstrated experience delivering new build multi-story residential projects.
• Experience managing projects of significant scale and complexity

Required Licences and Certifications

• Relevant construction qualification or trade background
• Construction White Card
• First Aid and CPR
• Valid Driver Licence

Experience

• Senior site management experience within the construction industry
• Strong sequencing and build methodology capability
• Proven experience delivering projects up to $25 million
• Confidence managing live or operational environments
• Sound commercial awareness and ability to identify cost and programme risk
• Natural leadership capability with the ability to mentor foremen and site teams
• Experience with Procore, HammerTech, Jobpac, Bluebeam and Microsoft Project will be advantageous.
