Job summary

W Talent is seeking an experienced Site Manager or senior Foreman to lead a live Queensland project in the Yarrabilba growth area, with a clear progression path across Defence, Health, Education, Retail and more. A long-term pipeline awaits beyond a four-month school build.

The role requires setting up the site in week one, driving safety, ITPs, quality control and tight paperwork under a supportive leadership team, and leveraging Procore on live-site records.

Qualifications

• Site management on commercial projects preferred
• Foreman experience with leadership potential considered
• Knowledge of safety programs, ITPs and quality processes required

A Queensland Tier 2 builder with an $11M government school project and a genuine pipeline of work behind it is looking for a Site Manager to run the show — and they're just as keen to talk to an experienced Foreman ready to take that next step.

Initial Project

An operating primary school in the Yarrabilba growth corridor, south of Brisbane. A tight four-month build on a well-defined scope, delivered around a live campus. Nail this one and you move straight onto the next project with the same team in Brisbane — this is a career move, not a single job.

The Role

• Set the job up right in week one and hold trades to their dates
• Lead safety, run ITPs and quality, keep the paperwork tight without living behind a desk
• Backed by a Project Manager, Contract Administrator and Foreman — you're not carrying this alone

What You'll Bring

• Site Management experience on commercial projects $5–20M OR proven Foreman experience and you're ready to run your own site
• Education, government or other live-site experience is a big plus
• Trade background and/or construction management qualification
• QLD Blue Card (or able to get one) + current White Card
• Comfortable with Procore, digital site records and holding subbies to account — and having them turn up for you the next day
