Job summary

Contec Recruitment Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a major multi-storey development. You will own site operations, manage subcontractors and site teams, and drive the programme through to completion.

We’re looking for someone with proven delivery on $20M+ projects, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid focus on quality and safety across Tier 1/2 projects in Queensland.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a major Brisbane development with a builder known for delivering high-quality apartment, commercial and industrial projects across Queensland.

With a strong secured pipeline, experienced leadership team and continued growth across their residential division, this is a role offering genuine long-term security and progression.

The Opportunity

You’ll take full ownership of site operations, working closely with the Construction Manager and leading subcontractors and site teams through to completion.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing subcontractors and site teams
• Driving programme, sequencing and delivery
• Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Coordinating trades and key stakeholders
• Keeping the project on track from structure through to completion

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a proven Site Manager with experience delivering multi-storey projects valued at $30M+. You’ll ideally have multi-residential experience, however strong commercial or industrial backgrounds will also be considered in the Tier 1 or 2 space.

• Proven Site Management experience on $20M+ projects
• Strong subcontractor and site team management skills
• Sound understanding of construction sequencing and programming
• Strong focus on quality, safety and delivery
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Organised, proactive and solutions-focused
