Job summary

Trade Plus Recruitment is assisting a growing Brisbane builder to recruit a Site Manager to oversee current and upcoming projects across Residential, Commercial and Modular work. Based in inner Brisbane, the role offers long-term growth as the pipeline expands.

You will lead day-to-day site operations, manage trades and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and work with the owner to keep projects on time and budget. A carpentry background and broad construction knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years construction experience.
• Experience in a site management or leading hand role.
• Strong understanding of construction beyond your own trade.
• Current White Card.
• Able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Check.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day running of the site, including trade coordination and sequencing.
• Get involved on the tools when required.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure work meets quality and program requirements.
• Monitor site safety, SWMS compliance and inductions.
• Liaise directly with the builder on programming, materials and site issues.
• Manage site documentation, including RFIs, variations and quality checks.
• Ensure projects stay on program and on budget.

A growing Brisbane builder is seeking a Site Manager to oversee current and upcoming projects. This is an opportunity to grow with the business long term, with scope to take on more responsibility as the company's pipeline expands. The builder specialises in Residential, Commercial and Modular projects.

Current Projects

The first projects you will be in charge of are a three storey lift and renovation valued at approximately $1.5m, and two new builds nearby. Combined, this represents approximately $4m to $5m in current work over the next 12 months. Based in inner Brisbane. A chance to grow with support into delivering $5 - $6 million dollar commercial projects after your initial year.
