Job summary

Wiley is seeking two experienced Site Foremen to join our project teams on education projects valued between $20M and $40M. You will lead daily site operations, coordinate trades, and work with the Site Manager to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.

You will bring five years of Foreman experience, ability to coordinate multiple trades, and a collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving across education, commercial or industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience as a Foreman.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple trades and work fronts.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and site operations.
• Experience delivering education, commercial or industrial projects.
• Ability to build productive relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and daily site activities.

Wiley is seeking two experienced Site Foremen to join our project teams and help deliver two significant Education projects valued between $20M and $40M.

These are exciting opportunities to take a leading role on site, work alongside experienced project teams and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality facilities with a lasting impact on the communities they serve.

The Opportunities

As Foreman, you will be at the centre of daily site operations, working closely with the Site Manager to keep construction activities safe, coordinated and progressing to plan.

You will provide hands on leadership across your project, build strong relationships with subcontractors and maintain a sharp focus on safety, quality, programme and detail.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and daily site activities
• Supporting the Site Manager with project planning and delivery
• Monitoring workmanship to ensure quality standards are achieved
• Driving safe work practices across the site
• Identifying and resolving issues before they affect the programme
• Coordinating construction, completion and commissioning activities
• Maintaining clear communication between the site team, consultants and client
• Helping create a positive, accountable and high performing site culture

About You

You are a practical and approachable site leader who knows how to bring people together and get the job done properly. You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure and take pride in delivering quality work.

You will bring:

• At least five years’ experience as a Foreman
• Proven experience coordinating multiple trades and work fronts
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and site operations
• Experience delivering education, commercial or industrial projects
• The ability to build productive relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams

A current QBCC Site Supervisor or Open Builder Licence will be highly regarded.
