Job summary

Haste Recruitment in Brisbane is seeking a Commercial Foreman to oversee on-site school, aged care and hospitality construction projects for a premium mid-tier builder. You will supervise daily activities and manage subcontractors and staff, partnering with an experienced Site Manager to ensure quality and timely delivery across diverse projects through 2026/27.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel and Procore, along with strong leadership and communication, are essential to coordinate

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial leadinghand or Foreman in construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Procore.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily on-site activities for commercial projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee subcontractors and full-time staff, maintaining a professional and collaborative work environment.
• Utilise your experience with Microsoft Project and Excel to manage project schedules and budgets.
• Leverage your knowledge of Procore to track progress and communicate with stakeholders.

The role

Our client, a premium mid-tier commercial building contractor in Brisbane, is seeking a skilled Commercial Foreman to join their dynamic team. Known for their excellence in delivering distinctive projects, our client focuses on commercial builds ranging from small property developments to large-scale industrial projects.

As a Commercial Foreman, you will oversee school, aged care and hospitality construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards. With your expertise in construction, you will work alongside a highly experienced Site Manager who will train you in prgramming and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily on-site activities for commercial projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee subcontractors and full-time staff, maintaining a professional and collaborative work environment.
• Utilise your experience with Microsoft Project and Excelto efficiently manage project schedules and budgets.
