Job summary

Downer is seeking a Site Engineer to support delivery of capital water and wastewater projects across the Sunshine Coast. The role is based in Maroochydore with site work in Noosa, contributing to a robust program and long-term opportunities.

You will engage in planning reviews, advise on delivery constraints, and collaborate with scheduling, procurement, QA, and safety teams to ensure time, cost and quality targets are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years project delivery experience within the water & wastewater industry (preferred).
• Experience in driving quality outcomes in project delivery.
• Degree qualification in civil or mechanical engineering.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with people.
• Sound computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning visits and concept reviews to advise on constructability and delivery across time, cost, safety and quality outcomes.
• Support Scheduling, Cost Controls, Community Engagement, Procurement, Estimating, Quality Assurance and Safety teams in developing delivery plans.
• Provide technical advice and expertise throughout project delivery phase, promptly addressing any issues and problem-solve to maintain time, cost, quality and safety targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and colleagues.
