Job summary

Downer Group in Queensland seeks a Senior Site Supervisor - Mechanical to take ownership of critical mechanical construction works across one of Southeast Queensland's largest water infrastructure programs. You will lead supervisors, coordinate subcontractors and drive safety, quality, programme and budget outcomes.

You will mentor site teams, collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers, and champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement on major water projects.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering mechanical construction works within water or wastewater projects.
• Proven ability to lead supervisors, subcontractors and site-based teams.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical construction activities across water and wastewater projects.
• Coordinate supervisors, subcontractors and multiple work fronts.
• Drive project outcomes across safety, quality, programme and budget.
• Support planning, scheduling and construction methodology development.
• Build capability within site teams through mentoring and leadership.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and key stakeholders.
• Promote consistency, innovation and continuous improvement across projects.
