Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years' Site/Project Engineering experience.
• Experience in water, wastewater, civil or infrastructure projects is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of engineering and construction drawings.
• Experience with QA, ITPs, RFIs and site documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering and construction drawings for buildability.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site activities.
• Assist with procurement and tracking of materials and equipment.
• Manage QA documentation including ITPs, ITCs and inspections.
• Raise and manage RFIs and technical queries.
• Assist with project programming, cost tracking and reporting.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure works are delivered to specification.
• Liaise with design teams, consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during construction and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental requirements.

Design & Build have partnered with a leading specialist in water and wastewater solutions to find an experienced Site Engineer for a contract opportunity in Brisbane.

Location: Brisbane, QLD
Type: Contract
Duration: Initial contract with potential for further work
Rate: Negotiable based on experience

About the Role:

As Site Engineer, you will support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, working closely with the Project Manager, site team, subcontractors and design consultants.

The role will have a strong focus on site coordination, technical support, QA, documentation and ensuring works are delivered safely and to program.

Projects can include pump stations, odour control systems, water treatment assets and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Review engineering and construction drawings for buildability
