Job summary

Resourceful Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer to join a growing contractor delivering water, utilities and civil infrastructure across South-East Queensland. You will provide hands-on engineering support, coordinate site activities with subcontractors and suppliers, and help ensure works meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Site-based civil construction, water, utilities or infrastructure experience.
• Understanding of drawings, quality documentation and site processes.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with supervisors, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support across civil and water infrastructure projects.
• Assist with coordinating site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and construction resources.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
• Prepare and maintain ITPs, inspection records, quality documentation and site reports.
• Assist with RFIs, variations, procurement and project documentation.
• Complete site inspections and support the resolution of technical and construction issues.
• Support compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, supervisors and other project stakeholders.

Job description

An established contractor delivering water, utilities and civil infrastructure projects across South-East Queensland is seeking a Site Engineer to join its growing delivery team.

Working across a diverse portfolio of capital works and maintenance projects, you will provide hands‑on engineering support to site teams and assist with the day-to-day coordination of construction activities. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming work across South-East Queensland, this opportunity offers long-term stability, practical site exposure and a genuine pathway to progress into a Project Engineer position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support across civil and water infrastructure projects.
