Job summary

PCA Ground Engineering is a specialist ground engineering and civil construction contractor operating across Australia. This site-based role supports a Project Manager, coordinating labour, plant and programs while managing scope changes to drive project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Safety‑first mindset with commercially savvy problem solving.

A support role, working under the direction of a Project Manager, to build your project management career with a specialist ground engineering contractor.

Full-time | Salary negotiable based on experience

This is a site based role, and interstate travel is common - depending on project location.

Our core work is piling, ground anchors, earth retention, deep foundations and grouting, on projects across commercial, industrial and major infrastructure sectors including civil construction.

THE ROLE

This is a support role: you'll work under the direction of a Project Manager and alongside senior leadership, driving the engineering and commercial outcomes of your projects.

You'll coordinate labour, plant and programs, manage scope changes and variations, and ensure QA compliance is maintained through CivilPro, all while building your project management experience for the next step up.

SOME OF THE MUST-HAVES

• Experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer, ideally with some ground engineering exposure (piling, anchoring, retention, deep foundations)
• Sharp contract management skills, backed by strong documentation and reporting
• Confidence maintaining QA compliance and documentation; previous experience with CivilPro (or similar QA/ITP software) is a big plus
• A genuine safety-first mindset and a knack for commercially savvy problem-solving
• Australian working rights and willingness to travel and work away from home across NSW and QLD

BONUS POINTS FOR

• Hands-on ground engineering experience: slope stabilisation, earth retention or deep foundations
• Experience working within an ISO-certified or other third-party accredited management system
