Job summary

PCA Ground Engineering is seeking a seasoned Piling Supervisor to oversee Bored and CFA piling on sites across New South Wales and Queensland. You will lead crews, manage equipment, and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and clients to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

You will inspect sites, manage risks, ensure compliance with WHS regulations, and maintain project documentation. This role requires travel, a White Card, and a valid Australian driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience in Bored and CFA piling.
• Proven leadership and crew coordination skills.
• Technical knowledge of piling rigs and equipment.
• Sound understanding of Australian WHS regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Valid White Card and Australian driver’s license.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home, with broad availability.
• A drug and alcohol-free approach to work.
• Time behind the controls of piling rigs (Soilmec, Casagrande or similar).
• Experience with concrete and grout pumps.
• Driven timber and steel pile experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Tickets in Excavator, EWP, Working at Heights, Dogman, or HRW

Job description

The role

We’re expanding our Piling & Ground Engineering division and need a seasoned Piling Supervisor to run crews across a mix of diverse, genuinely interesting projects in NSW and QLD.

You’ll lead Bored and CFA piling operations on site, keep crews and equipment moving safely and efficiently, and be the person engineers, PMs, and clients turn to when something needs sorting out. Site inspections, risk management, compliance, documentation, it’s all part of owning the site the way a good Supervisor should.

This role pays an hourly rate covering the first 8 hours, with overtime applying from there. On top of that, you’ll pick up allowances for living away from home, mileage, travel, and accommodation, plus the potential for weekend work.
