Job summary

Ampol Group is seeking a Site Conversion Lead to drive a national retail transformation program across our Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne offices. The role focuses on safe, efficient deployment, governance, and readiness, reporting to the Centre of Excellence.

You will lead a team of Site Conversion Advisors, coordinate with Field Operations, PMO, vendors, and stakeholders, and deliver outcomes with minimal disruption while maintaining a strong safety and governance focus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale operational or transformation programs.
• Strong frontline retail operations knowledge.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Experience working across field operations and central support functions.
• Strong capability in risk management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead national site conversion deployment activities across the retail network.
• Oversee site readiness, branding, equipment changeovers, system cutovers and handovers.
• Manage deployment sequencing to minimise operational and trading impacts.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Site Conversion Advisors.
• Act as the key escalation point for deployment risks, issues and stakeholder concerns.
• Drive governance, assurance reporting and program visibility.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the conversion lifecycle.
