Job summary

Integrated Disability Support Services is seeking an experienced Participant Liaison Officer – SIL to join our Birtinya Hub on the Sunshine Coast. You will oversee day-to-day SIL delivery, support participants, families and frontline teams, and ensure quality, compliance and participant outcomes remain central.

You will apply solid knowledge of the NDIS SIL Practice Standards to translate policies into practical home-based support, coordinate rostering, assess risks and drive improvements, with

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Supported Independent Living participants.
• Strong knowledge of NDIS requirements and SIL Practice Standards.
• Experience coordinating or overseeing disability support teams.
• Sound understanding of participant funding and how SIL supports are delivered.
• Safeguarding, risk and quality requirements knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of SIL services across your participant cohort.
• Build strong relationships with participants, families, guardians and stakeholders.
• Monitor quality and consistency of supports across shifts.
• Coach and mentor Lifestyle Mentors to deliver person-centred support.
• Ensure the participant’s home remains the focus; support rostering and staffing.
• Monitor outcomes, documentation, incident trends and service delivery.
• Keep participant files, plans and risk information current.
• Support transitions between SIL arrangements and communication with families.
