Job summary

LME Care is seeking a dedicated SIL Support Worker in Brisbane to help participants live their best life. You will provide day-to-day care, support participation in activities, and assist with independence and safety in our SIL homes.

You will hold a Cert III in Individual Disability Support (or be willing to learn), have current First Aid/CPR, a valid driver’s license, and Working with Children/Blue Card checks. You’ll join an energetic team committed to meaningful, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Individual Disability Support or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Experience in complex behaviors and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality day to day care and support.
• Support participants to try new experiences, build confidence, and develop healthy habits.
• Celebrate achievements, both big and small, and help make every day meaningful.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment while encouraging independence and choice.
• Work closely with participants, families, and stakeholders to plan and achieve participant goals.
