Responsibilities

• Plan and create innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs.
• Daily guidance, coordination, and supervision for kitchen staff and juniors.
• Develop recipes and trial presentation styles while maintaining flavours and nutritive value.
• Plan daily menus and specials and ensure top presentation.
• Quality control the freshness of food and ingredients.
• Identify industry trends and local competition.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.
• Stock orders, stock control, and food circulation to maximize lifespan.
• Train and lead subordinates on daily tasks and provide mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and able to explain them to others.
