Job summary

Shivam Three Pty Ltd T/A Durks Box Hill is seeking a qualified Chef for its Durk's Cafe + Eatery in BOXHILL, NSW. This full-time role requires a diploma in culinary field and at least one year of full-time experience, with a salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation.

At least 1 year of full-time kitchen experience.
Based in Box Hill, NSW.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook all menu items.
Update the menu to ensure variety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee junior kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and plating.
Manage inventory, placing orders, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to secure fresh ingredients.
Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of discipline and performance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and kitchen security.
Gather and act on customer feedback to enhance kitchen operations.
Identify opportunities to improve and expand the services and facilities offered by the restaurant.
