The Balcony Garden is seeking a Showroom Manager for our flagship Melbourne showroom. You will welcome customers, help them pick pieces for their space, and ensure every visit and order is handled with care.

In this hands-on role within a small team, you’ll create inviting displays, advise on sizing, finishes, and coordinate deliveries with our warehouse. A background in retail or customer service and a keen eye for design are essential.

Formación

• Experience in retail, hospitality or customer service, ideally in homewares, furniture, interiors or garden.
• You genuinely enjoy helping people and can read what a customer actually needs.
• An eye for design and pride in a well-presented space.
• Organised, reliable and comfortable using point-of-sale systems and email.
• An interest in plants, landscaping or interior design is a real plus.

The Balcony Garden has been designing planters since 2006. What started as one landscape designer's frustration with the pots available in Australia has grown into a brand found in homes, gardens and commercial projects across Australia and the US, with features in Vogue Living, Three Birds Renovations and Architectural Digest.

We design our own collections, and our Melbourne showroom is where customers come to see, touch and choose them in person.

The role

We're looking for a Showroom Manager for our flagship Melbourne showroom. You'll welcome customers, help them find the right pieces for their space, and make sure every visit and every order is handled with care. It's a hands-on role in a small team, so you'll get variety and real ownership.

What you'll do

Greet and assist showroom visitors, from homeowners to designers and landscapers specifying for projects

Advise on sizing, materials and finishes

Process sales and prepare quotes

Follow up enquiries by phone and email

Keep the showroom styled, clean and well merchandised

Coordinate deliveries and click-and-collect pickups with our warehouse team

About you
