Job summary

Retail First Pty in Mt Ommaney is seeking an proactive Operations Assistant to support centre management and facilities operations. You will help maintain a safe, efficient and well-presented environment within a busy shopping centre.

You'll work alongside our Centre Management team to coordinate daily operations, engage contractors, assist with inspections and contribute to sustainability and operational efficiency initiatives while prioritising safety and high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or maintenance coordination.
• Understanding of building compliance and workplace safety.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the shopping centre.
• Coordinate maintenance, cleaning and security contractors.
• Conduct site inspections and assist with compliance reporting.
• Assist with quotations, purchase orders and scheduled maintenance.
• Contribute to sustainability and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard.
