Job summary

McDonald’s Australia is hiring energetic Shift Managers for casual, part-time, and full-time roles across our stores. This position involves overseeing shifts and running a designated area in a 24-hour business with flexible scheduling.

You will lead a team to deliver Quality, Service & Cleanliness, supervise staff, ensure food safety, and work toward sales targets. Strong communication and adaptability are essential, with a focus on guest experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in hospitality or retail (preferred).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Police check required for applicants over 18 and valid work right in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding QSC (Quality, Service & Cleanliness), sales, people practices and profit on your shifts.
• Supervise employees to ensure adherence to restaurant operations and procedures.
• Comply with restaurant safety and security standards for a safe working environment.
• Maintain food safety to the highest standard.
• Review and monitor guest counts and sales projections to align with shift targets and restaurant goals.
• Seek customer feedback for exceptional experience and repeat business.
• Work with a team to deliver high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
