Job summary

RCPA is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our Kilmore site. You will coordinate the production of steel-reinforced precast concrete pipes, lead a team, and ensure safety and quality standards while meeting production schedules.

You will own your shift, drive performance, and solve on-the-ground problems with a hands-on leadership approach. This role requires strong planning, people skills and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience within precast concrete, construction materials, heavy manufacturing or a similar industry.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment with supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience acting as the senior person on-site outside standard business hours.
• Proven track record of achieving production targets through leadership, planning and team engagement.
• Excellent decision-making skills with ability to escalate when required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear updates to management.
• Genuine commitment to health and safety, including responding to workplace incidents.
• Hands-on approach to leadership and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your shift and ensure production, quality, safety and on-time delivery targets are met.
• Lead from the front by briefing the team, allocating work, setting expectations, monitoring performance and handling issues.
• Manage shift handovers to ensure clear communication between crews and seamless continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying root causes and implementing practical safety, quality and productivity solutions.
• Support employee development and complete production reporting and updates.
