Job summary

RCPA is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our Kilmore site. You will coordinate the production of steel-reinforced precast concrete pipes, lead a team, and ensure safety and quality standards while meeting production schedules.

You will own your shift, drive performance, and solve on-the-ground problems with a hands-on leadership approach. This role requires strong planning, people skills and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience within precast concrete, construction materials, heavy manufacturing or a similar industry.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment with supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience acting as the senior person on-site outside standard business hours.
• Proven track record of achieving production targets through leadership, planning and team engagement.
• Excellent decision-making skills with ability to escalate when required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear updates to management.
• Genuine commitment to health and safety, including responding to workplace incidents.
• Hands-on approach to leadership and problem solving.

• Lead from the front by briefing the team, allocating work, setting expectations, monitoring performance and handling issues.

We're currently looking for experienced Manufacturing Supervisors to join our Kilmore team on either Day Shift or Afternoon Shift.

This is more than just supervising production. You'll be trusted to take ownership of your shift, lead your team, solve problems as they arise and play a key role in the success of the operation. About the Role

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you'll be responsible for coordinating the production of steel-reinforced precast concrete pipes, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained, and leading your team to achieve operational targets. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions and keep operations running smoothly throughout your shift. You'll play a key role in overseeing daily manufacturing activities, meeting production schedules, and delivering high-quality reinforced concrete pipes to our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of your shift and ensuring production, quality, safety and on-time delivery targets are achieved.
• Leading from the front by briefing the team, allocating work, setting expectations, monitoring performance and maintaining production standards. Acting as the senior person on-site, responding to operational, safety and people-related issues while making sound decisions and keeping management informed.
• Managing effective shift handovers to ensure clear communication between crews and seamless continuity across operations.
• Driving continuous improvement by identifying root causes, implementing practical solutions and encouraging ideas that improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Supporting employee development, building a positive and accountable team culture, and completing production reporting and operational updates.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people, takes ownership and can keep a team focused on delivering results.

You will have:

• Experience within precast concrete, construction materials, heavy manufacturing or a similar industry.
• 2+ experience in a manufacturing environment, with genuine supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience acting as the senior person on-site outside standard business hours.
• A proven track record of achieving production targets through strong leadership, planning and team engagement.
• Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to know what can be resolved on shift and what needs escalation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear updates to management.
