Job summary

SunRice CopRice is seeking a Shift Coordinator to lead frontline teams in Leeton NSW, ensuring safe, efficient production and high quality outputs. Reporting to the Manufacturing Coordinator, you’ll be the shift escalation point and drive continuous improvement while fostering a collaborative team culture.

You’ll deliver toolbox talks, monitor performance against KPIs, coordinate workflows and materials, and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a Team Leader/Supervisor role in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive performance.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and operational processes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Experience coordinating production schedules and managing workflows.
• Proficiency in MS Office and production/reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support shift teams to meet production targets and KPIs.
• Drive a safety-first culture, including incident reporting and investigations.
• Ensure product quality and compliance standards are met.
• Coordinate workflows, resources and materials to optimise efficiency.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members.
• Monitor performance, address issues, and support continuous improvement.
• Deliver toolbox talks and promote team engagement initiatives.
• Oversee shift reporting, documentation and handovers.
