Job summary

SunRice in Leeton, NSW, seeks a Production Operator for its Value Add World Rice team. You will operate and monitor plant equipment, meet production targets and uphold high standards of food safety.

Role offers permanent full-time hours, training and a supportive team environment, with uniforms, PPE and safety equipment provided. 10-hour shifts over four days (Mon-Thu) support a stable career in a renowned Australian food business.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/production experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor production machinery.
• Perform changeovers and assist with hygiene clean-downs.
• Conduct quality checks and manage product rework as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant workplace.
• Follow SHE and GMP requirements.
• Handle chemicals and equipment safely per procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production targets.
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
