Job summary

SunRice Group is seeking a maintenance team member to ensure plant and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Your role includes responding to breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement across a leading Australian food business.

Based at our SunRice operations in New South Wales, you will work closely with production teams, uphold food-grade standards, and contribute to a safe, high-quality manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Cert III Trade Qualification (NSW recognised).
• 1-3 years post-trade maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Safety-first mindset and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and teamwork能力.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and identify root causes.
• Contribute ideas to improve equipment reliability and safety.
• Ensure equipment is handed over in a safe, clean, food-grade ready condition.
• Maintain maintenance records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production teams to keep operations running smoothly.
