Job summary

SunRice Group in Australia is hiring a Production Operator for our Value Add World Rice team. You will ensure safe, efficient operation of plant equipment while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

You’ll work with a collaborative team to hit production targets and deliver high-quality products. The role offers permanent full-time employment with rotating shifts, ongoing training, and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.
• Perform product changeovers and assist with hygiene clean-downs.
• Conduct quality checks and manage product rework where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant work environment.
• Follow all SHE and GMP requirements.
• Handle chemicals and equipment safely in line with procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

About The Role

As a Production Operator in our Value Add World Rice team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety. You’ll be part of a collaborative team working to meet production targets and deliver quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor production machinery and equipment
• Perform product changeovers and assist with hygiene clean-downs
• Conduct quality checks and manage product rework where required
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant work environment
• Follow all Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and GMP requirements
• Handle chemicals and equipment safely in line with procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives

About You

Hours

10hrs per day, by 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)
