Job summary

SunRice in Leeton, NSW, seeks a Production Operator for its Value Add World Rice team. You will operate and monitor plant equipment, meet production targets and uphold high standards of food safety.

Role offers permanent full-time hours, training and a supportive team environment, with uniforms, PPE and safety equipment provided. 10-hour shifts over four days (Mon-Thu) support a stable career in a renowned Australian food business.

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Production Operator in our Value Add World Rice team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety. You’ll be part of a collaborative team working to meet production targets and deliver quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor production machinery and equipment
• Perform product changeovers and assist with hygiene clean-downs
• Conduct quality checks and manage product rework where required
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant work environment
• Follow all Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and GMP requirements
• Handle chemicals and equipment safely in line with procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives
