BlueScope Steel is seeking a Shift Coordinator for the Acacia Ridge Manufacturing facility in Queensland. You will lead a 20-person team, coordinating production with the manufacturing team to deliver reliable steel products for Queensland customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coordinating manufacturing operations as a supervisor or shift coordinator.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and change-management skills.
• Ability to manage a team of 20 and liaise with manufacturing teams.
• Commitment to safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement.
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to handle ambiguity and change.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise the operations area including product scheduling, machine operation and maintenance.
• Support and assist the team with daily operations to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk.
• Champion safety standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Grow and mentor the team to develop technical capability.
