Job summary

Tyree Group in Mittagong, NSW, is seeking an experienced Welder for our fabrication workshop. This full‑time role focuses on sheet metal welding across stainless steel and aluminium, reading drawings and BOMs, and contributing to production targets with a can‑do attitude.

We offer mentoring, above‑award pay, weekday hours with overtime, and employee support services, plus opportunities to grow within our sheet metal department in a friendly, local team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing.
• Experience welding stainless and aluminium.
• Ability to read drawings and BOMs.
• Comfort with CNC equipment is an asset.

About You

Due to its rapid and ongoing growth, our modern Fabrication Workshop now has exciting opportunities for experienced Welders who areinterested in sheet metal fabrication work.

• Previous experience sheet metal manufacturing.
• Experience welding stainless and aluminium.
• Experience working with CNC equipment (highly regarded but not essential)
• The ability to read drawings and BOM's
• A highly organised and thorough approach in all aspects of work
• A can-do attitude that support production goals and targets
• Proven high levels of attention to detail and a desire to produce quality work
• Reliability, drive and self-motivation
