Job summary

Tyree is expanding its switchboard division in Yatala, QLD and is seeking reliable learners to join our new production team. In this entry‑level role you will help fabricate busbar, assemble frames and assist with switchboard assembly in a clean workshop.

You will be trained by experienced staff, develop practical manufacturing skills, and have long‑term career and progression opportunities in a supportive team environment. Full-time permanent role with on‑site training and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate busbar, cut, bend and punch holes
• Assembly of sheet metal frames and mechanical connections
• Manufacture, fit and install electrical components
• Measure, mark out, and drill
• Prepare and organise parts, tools, and materials
• Read basic workshop drawings and instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

About the role

To staff our new premises in Yatala the company has exciting opportunities for production workers/factory hands/assemblers to join our team. You will work in a clean, organised workshop helping fabricate parts, busbar fabrication from workshop drawings and assist with switchboard assembly. You will be trained by experienced staff and build practical manufacturing skills in a hands-on team environment.
