Job summary

Aruma is seeking a capable Manager Shared Living to lead a portfolio across the Lake Illawarra region. You’ll inspire a team of Support Workers, partner with families and stakeholders, and drive person-centred, outcomes-focused service delivery.

You’ll combine people leadership with operational management to create safe, inclusive homes where people with disability live well and pursue their goals within their local community.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• A commitment to inclusion, dignity and person-centred practice.
• Experience in disability, aged care, healthcare, community services or another people-focused sector is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of Support Workers
• Foster a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture
• Ensure services align with person-centred and human rights-based practice
• Partner with residents, families, advocates and stakeholders
• Support positive behaviour support strategies and safeguarding practices
• Oversee workforce planning, rosters and service delivery
• Manage budgets and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, policies and quality requirements
• Drive continuous improvement and service excellence
