Job summary

Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking a Capital Works Programmer – Sewer & Stormwater to join the Infrastructure Services Directorate. You will develop annual and multi‑year programs for sewerage and stormwater networks, analysing asset data and risk to inform investment decisions.

Responsibilities include preparing scopes, budgets and delivery schedules, while collaborating with Asset Management, Operations and Design teams to ensure practical, cost‑effective projects that support community

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, asset management, or project management.
• Experience planning or programming capital works for sewerage or stormwater.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prioritise and maintain annual and multi-year programs for sewerage and stormwater.
• Analyse asset data, CCTV, maintenance records and risks to inform planning.
• Prepare scopes, budgets and schedules to support delivery.
• Lead and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to make programs practical.
