We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant to support the delivery of a large-scale ServiceNow transformation program within a complex enterprise environment.

This role is suited to a hands-on ServiceNow professional who can confidently work across platform configuration, workflow automation, service management processes, integrations and solution delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, project teams and operational support teams to deliver scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.

The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of technical capability, ServiceNow best practice knowledge and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to take ownership of technical outcomes from design through to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, develop and maintain ServiceNow platform functionality.
• Build and enhance workflows, approvals, forms, service catalogue items and user-facing applications.
• Configure and support ITSM capabilities, including Incident, Request, Change, Problem and Knowledge Management.
• Design and support integrations with internal and external platforms using REST, SOAP and IntegrationHub technologies.
• Support CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping and broader platform data management requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform, integration and configuration issues.
• Support testing, release management and deployment activities across multiple environments.
• Promote ServiceNow best practice, with a focus on configuration over customisation where appropriate.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge transfer and continuous improvement initiatives.

• ServiceNow ITOM
• Discovery and Service Mapping
• HRSD or Employee Centre
• Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
• Software Asset Management (SAM)
• CMDB governance and Data Foundations
• ServiceNow platform migrations or transformation programs
• Federal Government or Defence environments

Certifications

Applicants should hold one or more of the following:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certifications (ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, HAM, SAM or similar)
• ITIL Foundation or higher
