Job summary

Insignia Financial is seeking a hands-on ServiceNow Platform Engineer to design, build and support scalable ServiceNow solutions that enhance service delivery and automate business processes. You will work in the Infrastructure, Cloud & Workplace team to drive platform adoption and improve user experience.

The role involves developing and integrating across ITSM modules (GRC, ITAM, BCM, SecOps, SPM) and ensuring secure, reliable platform operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience in a mid-to-large enterprise.
• Strong hands-on development across ITSM and modules (GRC, ITAM, BCM, SecOps, SPM).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required; additional certifications encouraged.
• Strong JavaScript skills and experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
• Experience designing workflows, business rules, forms, catalog items and automation solutions.
• Knowledge of API integrations (REST/SOAP) and web technologies (HTML/CSS).
• Excellent problem-solving, and ability to deliver secure, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and document scalable ServiceNow apps and workflows.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions across ServiceNow modules.
• Deliver catalog, automation enhancements and improve service delivery.
• Build and support integrations with enterprise systems using approved patterns.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage platform lifecycle events including releases, upgrades and testing.
• Contribute to full SDLC with focus on security and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver sustainable, well-documented outcomes.

We are looking for a ServiceNow Platform Engineer to design, build and support high-quality ServiceNow solutions that enhance service delivery, automate business processes and drive platform adoption across the organisation. Working within our Infrastructure, Cloud & Workplace team, you will play a key role in developing scalable platform capabilities that improve operational efficiency and user experience. This is a hands‑on engineering role where you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and technology teams to deliver secure, reliable and maintainable solutions. You'll have the opportunity to influence platform improvements, support enterprise integrations and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our ServiceNow environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and document scalable ServiceNow applications, workflows and platform components that align with business needs and platform best practices.


• Translate business requirements into practical, sustainable technical solutions across ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities.


• Deliver workflow, service catalogue and automation enhancements that improve service delivery and reduce manual effort.


• Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using approved integration patterns and technologies.


• Troubleshoot platform issues, conduct root cause analysis and resolve defects to maintain platform stability and performance.


• Manage platform lifecycle activities, including releases, deployments, cloning, upgrades and regression testing.


• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions are secure, controlled and fit for purpose.


• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver sustainable outcomes supported by quality documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience within a mid-to-large enterprise environment.


• Strong hands‑on experience across ServiceNow development, including ITSM and modules such as GRC, ITAM, BCM, SecOps, Enterprise Architecture or SPM.


• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification, with additional ServiceNow certifications highly regarded.


• Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting expertise, including Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.


• Experience designing workflows, business rules, forms, catalog items and automation solutions.


• Knowledge of API integrations and web technologies, including REST/SOAP, HTML and CSS.


• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to develop practical and efficient solutions for complex challenges.


• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement
