Job summary

SEEK is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join a large Federal Government technology transformation program. This hands-on role focuses on designing, configuring and developing custom and out-of-the-box ServiceNow solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing, developing and maintaining ServiceNow solutions.
• Hands-on configuring and customising ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms and scripts.
• Experience developing ServiceNow integrations and custom applications.
• Practical experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM and HR modules.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ServiceNow applications, modules and integrations.
• Configure and customise workflows, forms, scripts and platform functionality.
• Translate business requirements into prototypes and fully working solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, user researchers, service designers and technical teams.
• Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement bug fixes and improve platform stability and performance.
• Monitor system health and proactively address issues to minimise downtime.
• Support platform maintenance, upgrades and continuous improvement.
• Prepare technical designs, specifications and knowledge-transfer documentation.
