Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications for a government environment. The role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, and user-friendly solutions aligned with government standards and processes.

You will work onsite 5 days per week, with 3–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, strong scripting and ITIL ITSM knowledge, and CSA/CAD certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on ServiceNow development.
• Strong configuration and scripting skills.
• Experience in ITSM environments.
• Understanding ITIL processes.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• ServiceNow CSA, CAD or similar certifications.
• Experience on government or large enterprise projects.
• Exposure to integrations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Configure and develop ServiceNow modules like Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request.
• Develop workflows, forms, business rules, and UI policies.
• Support REST API integrations as needed.
• Perform unit testing and assist system testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
• Maintain documentation and follow change processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with government security standards.
