Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to deliver and support ITSM and HRSD solutions in a complex Australian Government environment. The role is based in Canberra with a Hybrid work model and a 12-month contract including potential extensions.

Baseline clearance is required. You will develop and integrate workflows, manage platform upgrades, and collaborate on automation initiatives, ServiceBridge capabilities, and API integrations.

Qualifications

• Baseline security clearance required.
• CSA certification; CAD certification desirable.
• Experience with ITSM/HRSD, workflows, Flow Designer and customer-facing portals.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and enhance ServiceNow solutions per standards.
• Support service requests, incidents and defects maintaining platform stability.

Job description

ServiceNow Developer | ITSM & HRSD
Deliver and support ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, HRSD, integrations, automation and platform enhancements within a complex Australian Government environment.

Location:Canberra, ACT, other states can be considered
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - remote arrangements may be considered case-by-case, subject to business needs
Contract Duration: 12 months, with possible 2 x 12-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline

Essential Tasks

• Develop, configure and enhance scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with platform standards and architecture.
• Support service requests, incidents and defects while maintaining platform stability, performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain integrations, automation solutions and ServiceBridge capabilities.
• Implement user stories, enhancements and technical work packages, and support platform upgrades.

Key Criteria

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credentials; CAD certification is desirable.
• Strong ServiceNow development experience across ITSM, HRSD, workflows, Flow Designer, business rules and customer-facing portals.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, development standards and best practices.
• Integration experience using REST and SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, ServiceBridge and process automation.
