Service & Warranty Representative – Caravan & RV
Caboolture, QLD | Full-time, permanent | Hands-on technical role
Ezytrail has established 11 company-owned branches across the country. For over 20 years we've been getting families and travellers off-road, and we're proud of the product we sell and the service behind it.
We're looking for a Service & Warranty Representative to join our Sunshine Coast branch in Caboolture. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll be the hands-on technical person in the branch. You'll inspect, diagnose and repair caravans, and look after warranty claims from first report through to resolution.
This is a workshop role, not a desk job. Most of your day will be on the tools: finding faults, carrying out repairs and rectification work, and making sure every van leaves the branch right. You'll also document each warranty job properly and keep customers updated, so issues get resolved quickly and fairly.
You'll work closely with our Warranty, Parts and Service teams, and your findings help us fix recurring faults at the source.
Inspecting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, gas and general caravan faults
Carrying out servicing, repairs and warranty rectification work, including 12V/240V systems, brakes, bearings, suspension and fit-out
Documenting warranty jobs with photos, fault descriptions, root cause and parts required
Preparing and submitting warranty claims, and following up on approvals, parts and repair progress
Keeping customers clearly informed on progress, next steps and timeframes
Completing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and quality checks before vans are handed over
Supporting customer handovers and product delivery, walking owners through their van
Coordinating parts requirements with the Parts and Warranty teams to keep jobs moving
Recording work accurately in our job and warranty systems
Reporting recurring product faults so they can be fixed at the source
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop in line with WHS standards
Hands-on experience in caravan, RV, automotive, marine, trailer or similar servicing and repair
Sound mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience with warranty or insurance repair processes, or a willingness to learn them
Good attention to detail, especially when documenting faults and photos
Clear, friendly communication with customers
Organised and reliable, able to manage several jobs at once
Competent with basic computer systems, email and job records
A current Australian driver licence. Experience towing caravans or trailers is highly regarded
A trade qualification in automotive, auto-electrical, RV or a related field is highly regarded. Apprentices close to finishing are welcome to apply
Competitive salary package
Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, with no weekend work
Variety: no two vans through the door present the same problem
Your work matters, because the faults you find get fed back and fixed
A clear career pathway: Service & Warranty Rep → Service Centre Specialist → Service Centre Manager
An established Australian business with branches nationally and genuine scope to grow as we build our service centres
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
