Job summary

Fujifilm Australia is seeking a hands-on Service Technician/Field Engineer to install, repair and maintain imaging equipment across Queensland. You will troubleshoot issues via phone or remote support, attend sites to complete repairs safely, and manage documentation including parts ordering and returns.

Weekend on-call duties may be required. Based in Brisbane, the role requires travel within the region and potentially interstate.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or TAFE certificate in Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Precision and attention to detail in work.
• Restricted Electrical License preferred.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of photography/printing equipment or related industry.
• Basic networking experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and service equipment on-site.

Job Description

In this role, you'll be pivotal in executing equipment installations, conducting repairs, performing routine maintenance, and providing technical support to resolve breakdowns. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced service technician or field engineer with a passion for hands-on technical work!

About the Role:

Troubleshoot operator issues via phone or remote assistance whenever possible.

On-site attendance to efficiently, safely, and reliably complete repairs.

Manage service and installation documentation, including parts ordering and returns.

Participate in weekend on-call duties and after-hours work as needed.

Conduct site inspections essential for equipment installations.

Based in Brisbane,require country travel or even interstate travel as required.
