Job summary

seek.com.au listing for an Electrician, Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter role with a national provider of dock equipment and lifting devices. The position offers variety, travel and on-call work in a fast-paced environment.

You will service and maintain mechanical and hydraulic systems, adhere to WHS guidelines, and have opportunities for career progression within a quality-driven, innovative team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications as Electrician, Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter or mechanically minded (preferred but not essential).
• White Card (preferred but not essential).
• Forklift and EWP licences (preferred but not essential).
• Mechanical/hydraulic experience preferred.
• Ability to work within time constraints while maintaining WHS obligations.
• Good communication, strong work ethic and team player.
• Willing to travel and be on call.
• Willing to undergo National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain dock equipment, lifts and handling devices.
• Work across sites with varying tasks and challenges.
• Travel as required and be on-call when needed.
• Maintain compliance with WHS requirements and safety standards.

About You:

• Trade qualifications as an Electrician, Boilermaker, Mechanical Fitter or mechanically minded (preferred but not essential)
• Hold an industry White Card (preferred but not essential)
• EWP and Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
• Skill in mechanical and/or hydraulic experience/knowledge (preferred)
• The ability to work within time constraints whilst maintaining legal and WHS obligations
• Good communication skills, strong work ethic, and able to work well as part of a team
• Must be willing to travel and be on call when required
• Must be willing to undergo a National Police Check
