Job summary

Marble Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and maintain a range of forklift and access equipment. You’ll work primarily in the field with some workshop duties, traveling to customer sites and building relationships with clients across multiple locations.

The role offers extensive on‑the‑job training, opportunities for upskilling, and the chance to join a nationally recognised dealership network. Standard hours are weekdays with travel paid from home where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical (desirable)
• Willingness to work in the field, often autonomously with various clients
• Strong customer service orientation and positive work attitude
• Long-term permanent role with opportunities for development in field service

The branch and working hours

As a Field Service Technician, you will be working primarily in the field with occasional work done in the workshop. You'll spend most of your time on the road developing relationships at various working locations.

• Standard hours will be Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm (hours can be flexible)
• Travel time paid from the moment you leave you house to the job site (depending on the location of the work)

The role and machinery

In this role you will enjoy working with an extensive range of different branded forklifts and access equipment with day-to-day duties as below:

• Scheduled servicing
• Component change outs, PM work, scheduled maintenance, equipment/ technology upgrades
• Breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, problem solving
• Warranty work

Your skills and experience

You will be a heavy diesel fitter with a background working on a range of mobile plant, trucks, access equipment or materials handling machinery. You'll also have proven skills and attributes in the following:

• Proven knowledge on mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical (desired, not essential)
• Ability and willingness to work in the field, often autonomously with a range of different clients.
• Strong customer service skills and an excellent attitude towards work
• Looking for a long-term permanent role where you can develop into a well-rounded field service fitter.
