Job summary

Adaptalift Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in Truganina, VIC. This field-based role delivers high-quality service to customers through breakdown support, diagnostics and preventative maintenance, supported by our national coordination team and modern tools.

You’ll spend ~90% of time traveling to customer sites across the region from our Truganina facility, with training and career progression available in a safety-focused, values-led business.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Certificate and related field experience across mechanical equipment.
• Experience with fixed or mobile plant equipment, automotive or similar.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Commitment to safe work practices and clear communication.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns in the field.
• Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Conducting fault finding across mechanical and hydraulic systems.

About The Role

This is a dynamic field-based position where you will deliver high-quality service to our customers through breakdown support, diagnostics, fault finding and preventative maintenance.

You’ll be supported by our national coordination team and experienced supervisors, equipped with the latest tools and mobile technology to efficiently manage your day.

Approximately 90% of your time will be spent travelling to customer sites across the region, with the support of our purpose-built Truganina facility.

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (all mechanical trades considered)
• Experience working on fixed or mobile plant equipment, automotive or similar
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Current Australian driver’s licence

• Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
