Job summary

Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) is seeking experienced Service Technicians to join our Horningsea Park workshop. You will work on world-leading construction and earthmoving equipment, diagnosing faults, performing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring equipment leaves the workshop in top condition.

You'll bring a trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Fitting, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Fitting, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or similar.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good hydraulic and mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a broad range of construction and earthmoving equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Complete machine inspections and pre-delivery preparations.
• Carry out repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately complete service reports, job cards and maintenance records.
• Work closely with your workshop team to keep jobs moving efficiently.
• Follow safety, quality and company procedures at all times.
• Help improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime for our customers.

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same. In this hands-on role you'll:

• Service, maintain and repair a broad range of construction and earthmoving equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults

What we're looking for

You take pride in your work, enjoy solving technical problems and have a genuine passion for working on heavy machinery.

You’ll ideally have:

• A trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Fitting, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or similar
• Experience working on earthmoving, construction, mining or mobile plant equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good hydraulic and mechanical knowledge
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to safety and delivering quality workmanship
