Job summary

CEA is seeking a Field Service Technician at our Mackay Branch to perform safe, efficient diagnostics and maintenance on mobile mining equipment, with a strong focus on customer service and field support. You will travel to sites, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs while adhering to safety standards.

• Experience in maintaining, servicing and repairing mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment.
• Ability to diagnose faults and assess mechanical needs in-field.
• Strong customer support orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient and compliant diagnostics, maintenance and repairs for customers in the field.
• Work as part of the Mackay team to service and support heavy equipment across sites.

CEA are looking for a Field Service Technician within our Mackay Branch –HD/Plant Mechanic!

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the provision of; safe, efficient and compliant diagnostics, as well as maintenance and repairs to our customer base.

About you:

• Experience in maintaining, servicing and repairing of mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment.
• Experienced in diagnosis and fault finding in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and service in the field.
• Demonstrated skills in understanding customer support requirements.
• Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
• Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours
• Whilst not required applicants with OEM experience are highly desired
