Job summary

Construction Distribution Australia in Brisbane invites applications for a Field & Workshop Service Technician. The role involves servicing, diagnosing, repairing and problem solving on LiuGong construction equipment and heavy machinery, across field and workshop environments.

You will work with customers and our service team to ensure equipment is maintained and operating at its best. The position is based at our Wacol branch with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or heavy machinery role, exposure to construction or earthmoving equipment.
• Trade qualification to Australian Standard in Plant/Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle, General Fitter or similar.
• Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage field service requirements.
• Highly motivated with a strong customer service focus.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Current driver's licence.
• Ability to travel as required.

We are seeking a qualified Field & Workshop Service Technician to join our service team, based out of our Wacol branch in Brisbane.

The role

As a Field & Workshop Service Technician, you will join a team of experienced professionals who take pride in delivering an exceptional standard of service to our customers.

Working both in the field and the workshop, your role will include servicing, diagnosing, repairing and problem solving on LiuGong construction equipment and heavy machinery. You will work closely with customers and our service team to ensure equipment is maintained and operating at its best.

What you will need to succeed

• Experience in a similar field service or heavy machinery role, with exposure to construction or earthmoving equipment (essential)
• Trade qualified to Australian Standard in Plant/Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle, General Fitter or similar
• Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage field service requirements
• Highly motivated with a strong customer service focus
• A regard for the health and safety of yourself and others
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to travel as required (essential)
