Job summary

Construction Distribution Australia in Sydney offers an Apprenticeship as an Apprentice Service Technician. Over four years you will develop practical skills and technical knowledge while completing your formal TAFE training.

Qualifications

At Construction Distribution Australia (CDA), we don’t just offer an apprenticeship – we invest in people who want to build a long-term career in the construction machinery industry.

We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Service Technician to join our Sydney Service Team. Over 4 years, you’ll develop practical skills and technical knowledge alongside experience technicians, while completing your formal TAFE training.

What you’ll be doing

As an Apprentice Service Technician, you’ll learn to service, maintain, diagnose and repair a wide range of construction machinery and equipment.

What we are looking for

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• The ability to work safely, follow instructions and ask questions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability, initiative and attention to detail.
• A C Class driver's licence (P Plates acceptable), or willingness to obtain one.

Previous experience in mechanics, machinery, construction, a workshop environment or a pre-apprenticeship course will be highly regarded.
