Job summary

Construction Distribution Australia in Truganina, VIC, is seeking a Field Service Technician to service LiuGong construction equipment and heavy machinery, primarily in the field.

You will diagnose, repair and solve on-site issues, working closely with customers and our service team to keep equipment running at peak performance. A valid Australian driver’s license and ability to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or heavy machinery role in construction/earthmoving equipment (essential).
• Trade qualification in Plant/Mobile Plant Technology or General Fitter (Australian standard).
• Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, diagnosing, repairing and problem solving on LiuGong construction equipment and heavy machinery.
• Work primarily in the field and with customers to ensure equipment is maintained and operating at its best.

We are seeking a qualified Field Service Technician to join our service team, based out of ourTruganina branch in Melbourne.

The role

As a Field Service Technician, you will join a team of experienced professionals who take pride in delivering an exceptional standard of service to our customers.

Working primarily in the field, your role will include servicing, diagnosing, repairing and problem solving on LiuGong construction equipment and heavy machinery. You will work closely with customers and our service team to ensure equipment is maintained and operating at its best.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a similar field service or heavy machinery role, with exposure to construction or earthmoving equipment (essential)
• Trade qualified to Australian Standard in Plant/Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle, General Fitter or similar
• Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage field service requirements
• Highly motivated with a strong customer service focus
• A regard for the health and safety of yourself and others
• Strong communication skills
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to travel as required (essential)
