Job summary

Rheem Australia is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead a 5-person WA field service team of plumbers, refrigeration techs and electricians in Welshpool. You’ll ensure efficient site work, provide technical guidance and training, and coordinate service providers across the state.

The role emphasizes safety, quality and customer outcomes, with a focus on installing and servicing Rheem products. You’ll report to the WA Service Manager and drive schedule adherence, staff development and fault

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in Refrigeration or Plumbing.
• Additional electrical licence or Restricted Electrical licence preferred.
• I Class Gas fitting licence preferred.
• People leadership experience.
• Current WA drivers’ licence.
• Comfortable with the use of electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all field service work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Assist and support technicians resolving service technical difficulties.
• Conduct regular site visits and meetings; resolve disputes and customer complaints.
• Quote major installation work for Rheem products.
• Ensure staff are trained to install and service Rheem products within qualifications.
• Report product faults to Service Manager and stakeholders.
• Maintain field staff levels to meet service call demands.
• Provide support and liaise with Service Agents and conduct regular training visits.
• Carry out regular inspections of field service vehicles.
• Uphold Rheem corporate, quality and WHS procedures.

About the role

An opportunity has become available for a Supervisor to join our WA Service team based in Welshpool. Reporting to the WA Service Manager you will be responsible for a team of 5 Field Service Technicians as well as provide support, technical assistance and training to the states network of Service Providers and appointed Service Agents.

You will:

• Ensure all field service work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner
• Assist and support technicians resolving service technical difficulties
• Conduct regular site visits, monthly meetings and help resolve dispute/customer complaints
• Quote major types of installation work for Rheem Products
• Ensure all field staff are sufficiently trained in being able to install and service Rheem products that fall within their qualifications
• Report Product faults to the Service Manager and relevant stakeholders
• Ensure that field staff levels meet the desired requirements for service call demands
• Provide support and liaise with Service Agents including regular visits for training
• Carry out regular inspections of general service vehicles
• Maintain a high level of commitment to Rheem Corporate, Quality & WHS procedures

About you

We are looking for someone who is committed, motivated, energetic, and reliable. You will ideally have:

• Trade qualifications in either Refrigeration or Plumbing
• Additional electrical licence or at minimum a Restricted Electrical licence
• I Class Gas fitting licence
• People leadership experience
• Current WA drivers’ licence.
• Comfortable with the use of electronic communication/information devices.

As you progress through the process, you will be required to complete a pre-employment medical in addition to background and reference checks.
